Athlon Sports released its latest article on Friday which ranks the ACC’s Offensive Triplets for 2015.
\nClemson’s trio of offensive players – Deshaun WatsonDeshaun WatsonSo. Quarterback#4 6-2, 205Gainesville, GAView Full Profile, Artavis ScottArtavis ScottSo. Wide Receiver#3 5-10, 190Oldsmar, FLView Full Profile and Wayne GallmanWayne GallmanRS So. Running Back#9 6-1, 205Loganville, GAView Full Profile were named the top group in the ACC.
\n“Chad Morris will be missed as Clemson\u2019s play-caller, but the Tigers should still have one of the ACC\u2019s top offenses,” Athlon Sports said. “Quarterback Deshaun Watson is one of the nation\u2019s rising stars and will be at full strength from a torn ACL by this fall. Scott and Gallman showed promise as freshmen last season and depth is plentiful at running back and receiver.”
\nDeshaun Watson was ranked #1, Gallman was ranked #6 and Scott was ranked #2 overall individually in the ACC by the sports publication.
\nAn interesting ranking note is that Pittsburgh’s running back James Conner and his teammate and wide receiver Tyler Boyd were both ranked as the top ACC player at their respective positions.<\/p>\n
