On today\u2019s edition of \u201cCoffee, Clemson Style\u201d we have the opportunity to review some of the top stories that came out of Memorial Day. Firstly, in case you\u2019ve missed it, the third edition of the Monday Mailbox was released. We discussed topics that included our predictions on the ACC Football Championship, the state of the Clemson baseball program, and the Tiger defense.<\/p>\n

Maybe the biggest news of the day came at noon when it was announced that your Clemson Tigers will continue their baseball season as the travel to Fullerton, California and, finally, an update on one of Clemson\u2019s 2015 commitments as he decides between football and baseball.<\/p>\n

Monday Mailbox: Third Edition<\/a> \u2014 Andrew Boardwine, RTR<\/p>\n

This week we have had several question pertaining to the Tigers\u2019 football and baseball program. Obviously, people want to know what should be done for the baseball program to get it back to contending in Omaha as well as what next season holds for Jack Leggett. We\u2019ve been doing this for a few weeks now and it\u2019s been great to discuss these topics, so, without further a due, here is the Monday Mailbox.<\/p>\n

Tigers Picked For NCAA Tourney<\/a> \u2014 Brian Hennessy, Clemson Athletic Communications<\/p>\n

CLEMSON, S.C. \u2013 The Tigers were selected to the NCAA Tournament on Monday afternoon and will play in the Fullerton (Calif.) Regional beginning Friday at Goodwin Field. The Tigers were selected to the NCAA Tournament for the 28th\u00a0time in the last 29 years and for the 40th\u00a0time overall, and will make its first trip to the West Coast for a regional.<\/p>\n

Clemson (32-27) is the No. 3 seed and faces No. 2 seed Arizona State (34-21) for the first time since 2010, when Clemson won 6-3 in the opening game of the College World Series in Omaha, Neb. Host school and No. 1 seed Cal State Fullerton (34-22) faces No. 4 seed Pepperdine (30-27) in the other Friday matchup.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Tanner Muse: Plenty of options but is still to enroll at Clemson<\/a> \u2014 Nikki Hood, Tigernet<\/p>\n

Tanner Muse<\/a> has plenty of options as May heads into June, but as of right now the 2015 Clemson football commit expects to be on Clemson\u2019s campus to begin classes and summer workouts in June.<\/p>\n

The Belmont (NC) South Point safety and Clemson signee is still in wait-and-see mode regarding baseball and the upcoming draft but after his senior season didn\u2019t live up to his expectations, the plan is to play both football and baseball for the Clemson Tigers.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
