JACKSONVILLE \u2014 Seventeen women and 12 men from the Clemson track & field program made the trip to the University of North Florida to compete at the NCAA East Preliminary Round from Thursday to Saturday. The meet serves as the qualifying rounds for the NCAA Outdoor Championships, meaning the top 12 individuals and relays from East (Jacksonville) and West (Austin, Texas) move on to Eugene, Ore., from June 10-13.<\/p>\n

National rankings heading into the NCAA first and second rounds were released Tuesday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association. The Tiger men were 17th<\/sup>, while the women were 18th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n
