Clemson 2016 quarterback commit Zerrick Cooper has been invited to the Elite 11 Semifinals in Los Angeles and will participate in the quarterback camp on June 5 through June 7.
\nAccording to the Elite 11 website, “The Elite 11 Semifinals will bring together top performers from the 2015 Elite 11 regional events to receive advanced, one-on-one quarterback instruction in a highly competitive setting. The Elite 11 Semifinals will span two days and include on-field drills, routes-on-air, classroom instruction and a final 7-on-7 evaluation.”
\nThe nation’s top 30 quarterbacks will go head-to-head and try to earn a spot in the Elite 11 Quarterback Finals (Top 18 QB’s) part of ‘The Opening’ in Beaverton, Oregon on July 5 through July 10.
\n10 of the last 11 quarterbacks to have won the Heisman Trophy attended the Elite 11 regional or finals camp.
\nThe Elite 11 semifinals will be streamed live on Elite11.com.

\nAs a junior in split quarterback duty, Cooper threw for 1,200 yards on 83 of 156 passing with six touchdowns. As a sophomore, he had 2,200 yards and 23 touchdowns and also rushed for 404 yards and 11 more scores.
