Jack Leggett out as Clemson Baseball Coach<\/a> \u2014 Andrew Boardwine, RTR<\/p>\n

Leggett has been the Head Coach at Clemson since 1994, a total of 22 seasons in which he led the Clemson baseball program to 21 NCAA Tournament appearances, six College World Series berths<\/a>, including two ACC Tournament Championships, and winning a total of 955 games<\/a> in his career as a Tiger.<\/p>\n

Obviously, it is a bitter-sweet day for most Clemson fans, even the ones who have been wanting him out for so long. Coach Leggett did so much for this program and he has such a competitive attitude that made him a Hall of Fame Coach.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Clemson offers Tennessee OT<\/a> \u2014 Tony Crumpton, Tigernet<\/p>\n

Clemson has offered rising-sophomore Will Lawrence<\/a> from Memphis, Tennessee on Friday according to his twitter account.<\/p>\n

TigerNet spoke with Lawrence on Friday afternoon and he was excited about the offer and was \u201cvery impressed with Clemson\u201d on his visit. \u201cI liked the coaches, the facilities, everything. It was a great visit.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

On New Years\u2019 Eve of 2012, I can clearly remember where I was. I was in Atlanta, Georgia about to watch my Clemson Tigers take on the LSU Tigers in the Chick-Fil-A Bowl. No one was giving Clemson a chance. I was told I was making a wasted trip going to Atlanta and Clemson would be lucky to even stay in the game against a \u201cmore powerful, talented, and deeper\u201d LSU team.<\/p>\n

Brian Dawkins: Greatest Living Eagle<\/a> \u2014 Colby Lanham \u2014 Clemson Athletic Communications<\/p>\n

When Clemson legend Brian Dawkins took the field \u2014 as a Tiger, Philadelphia Eagle, or Denver Bronco \u2014 fans knew what was in store. And so did the opposing team. With \u201cWeapon X,\u201d teams knew him as a playmaker who played with everything he had physically, mentally and emotionally.<\/p>\n

And Eagles fans have not forgotten his deeds on the field for their franchise, as fans voted for Dawkins in a landslide on Phillyvoice.com as the \u201cGreatest Living Eagle.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
