Committed to Ohio State since January, four-star athlete Bruce Judson is planning to visit Clemson next week for the first session of the Dabo Swinney Football Camp.
\nAs a sophomore at Florida\u2019s Cocoa High School, Judson passed for over 2,000 yards. He also rushed for 897 yards and 15 scores.
\n\u201cI just want to see how it is. I\u2019ve never been up there, so I want to see how South Carolina is, in general. I want to meet the staff, see the campus,\u201d Judson said, during a recent interview with TheClemsonInsider.
\nJudson has had a little contact with Clemson co-offensive coordinator Jeff Scott, who sent out the offer to the No. 23 athlete in the class of 2017, according to 247.
\n\u201cI know they\u2019ve been sending me a lot of mail and telling my coaches that they want me to come up for a visit,\u201d Judson said.
\nThe 5-foot-9, 185-pound prospect said Clemson has offered him as a quarterback.
\n\u201cThey\u2019ve got a great offense. They\u2019re all in. They always go to a bowl game or contend for a championship game. They always have a good record,\u201d Judson said.
\nThis summer, he also plans to visit Ohio State, Florida State, Auburn, Kentucky and Alabama.
\n\u201cSome want me at quarterback, some what me at receiver, some like me as an athlete,\u201d Judson said.
\nOhio State has him down as an athlete.
\n\u201cI\u2019m a quarterback, so I would prefer to run the team, but I\u2019m an athlete, so wherever they need to use me at, so it will help us win,\u201d Judson said, \u201cWhether that\u2019s running back, punt returner, kick returner, slot, cornerback, anywhere.\u201d
\nWhen he visits Clemson, Judson will be joined by Dr. Phillips High School teammates Nick Smith and Robert Porcher IV.<\/p>\n
