Unfortunately, real, live college football is still several months away.<br \/>\nWith that in mind, TheClemsonInsider is taking a look back at the recruitment of each returning player on the Clemson roster.<br \/>\nRB Wayne Gallman, Loganville, Ga. \u2013 Redshirt Sophomore<br \/>\nGallman emerged as one of the top running back targets on Clemson\u2019s 2013 board when he picked up an offer from the Tigers in the spring of his sophomore year (2011) at Grayson High School.<br \/>\nHis blend of size and speed fit the profile that new offensive coordinator Chad Morris was targeting.<br \/>\nThat summer, Gallman made his first visit to Clemson for the Dabo Swinney Football Camp. In the fall, he was on campus for the Florida State game. The Clemson staff hosted him again in January of 2012 for their Elite Junior Day event.<br \/>\nRunning backs coach Tony Elliott had helped work Clemson into contention and by the spring of 2012, the Tigers were the clear-cut leader. On April 11, 2012, Gallman committed to Clemson over several ACC and SEC schools, including South Carolina and Georgia Tech.<br \/>\nClemson picked up another running back commitment for the 2013 class in July when Tyshon Dye jumped on board. The two four-star prospects got to know one another at the Georgia Junior Bowl earlier that year and shared a friendship throughout the recruiting process.<br \/>\nTwo of Gallman\u2019s teammates \u2014 Robert Nkemdiche and David Kamara \u2014 were also apart of the 2013 class, but Gallman was the only one from the Grayson Trio to sign with Clemson.<br \/>\nGallman briefly considered visiting other schools, but never followed through.
