Who will replace Jack Leggett?<\/em><\/p>\n

Andrew: Obviously, everyone would love to see Tim Corbin of Vanderbilt or Kevin O\u2019Sullivan of Florida, but those may not be tangible options. I\u2019m not saying they wouldn\u2019t leave their respective programs, but it would be a surprise to me if they did. I really like Randy Mazey of West Virginia or Jim Schlossnagle from TCU. If Clemson could score either of those or Monte Lee from College of Charleston, I believe they would have made a solid hire.<\/p>\n

Ty: Jeff Szefc, Maryland\u2019s head coach, is my choice as Clemson\u2019s new baseball coach. He led Maryland to the Super Regional before falling to UVA.<\/p>\n

Monte Lee, College of Charleston, is my dark horse pick. He has averaged about 40 wins over seven seasons and he would be able to continue recruiting this state but at a higher level.<\/p>\n

Tim Corbin, Vanderbilt, is my dream pick because of three reasons. First, he has Vandy entrenched as a top program in the SEC. Secondly, he was an assistant at Clemson so he knows the area and the program well. Lastly, he was a coach at my alma mater Presbyterian College and I know the guy can coach and players love him.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

What do you see the as biggest drop off in our team this year?<\/em><\/p>\n

Andrew: The biggest drop off this year will be on defense. Even if the defensive line is solid, there will still be a drop off. There\u2019s no way you can lose NFL talent like Grady Jarrett and Vic Beasley and just be the exact same as last year. I\u2019m not saying the defensive line will be bad, but I would be shocked if it was the best in the nation.<\/p>\n

Ty: Without Vic Beasley who had 33 sacks over his last three seasons, Clemson\u2019s sack production will drop. The team has averaged 39 sacks with Beasley and he produced about 11 per year. That will be hard to replace.<\/p>\n

Purple Jerseys. Would you like to see them more?<\/em><\/p>\n

Andrew: I would love to see the purple jerseys more. I think they are unique and when the Tigers take the hill in those uniforms, it creates a really special atmosphere in Death Valley.<\/p>\n

Ty: I would love to see the purple jerseys more and I know the players like them. Clemson doesn\u2019t have to be Oregon and change uniforms every week but the purple is eye catching and stylish. We need more purple at Clemson or away.<\/p>\n

Taylor: While some squabble over the fact that the \u201creal\u201d Clemson colors should be orange and navy, there\u2019s no denying that purple has been part of the Clemson tradition for some time now. With Clemson\u2019s strong military heritage and the now annual Purple Out every football season, the purple isn\u2019t going anywhere. Some say that for the players, the purple jerseys carry bad luck since they wore them in a loss to Carolina a few years back; however, the purple jerseys are like no other in college football. Whenever the team comes barreling down the hill in head-to-toe purple, for some reason, I\u2019m always a little more excited for the game. Something about those deep purple unis makes the players a little more intimidating. I\u2019d definitely like to see the purple jerseys more\u2026 not only are they my favorite, but purple is just as much a Clemson color as orange is.<\/p>\n
