The action began when the Chicago White Sox decided to take left-handed pitcher Zach Erwin in the fourth round with the 112th pick in the draft. Just twelve picks later Junior Tyler Krieger heard his name called as the Cleveland Indians chose the infielder with the 124th pick of the draft.<\/p>\n<p>Two rounds later, the San Francisco Giants selected outfielder Steven Duggar with the 186th pick of the draft and then, rounding out the Tigers picked on day two, the Washington Nationals decided to draft Clemson Ace Matthew Crownover in the sixth round with the 194th pick in the draft.<\/p>\n<p>Here is the official press release from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.clemsontigers.com\/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=28500&amp;ATCLID=210127494\">Clemsontigers.com<\/a>:<\/p>\n<div class=\"blockquote\">Erwin was the first current Tiger selected, as he was drafted by the Chicago White Sox with the No. 112 overall pick. He was 7-4 with a 3.04 ERA in 106.2 innings pitched over 17 appearances (16 starts) in 2015. Erwin also had 92 strikeouts against only 16 walks, as his 5.75 strikeout-to walk ratio (No. 2) and 1.35 walks per nine innings pitched (No. 3) were both top-three marks in school history.<\/p>\n<p>Krieger was drafted by the Cleveland Indians with the No. 124 overall selection. In 2015, he batted .339 with 41 RBIs and led the team in on-base percentage (.448) and steals (14) on his way to earning Second-Team All-ACC honors for the second year in a row.<\/p>\n<p>Duggar was selected by the San Francisco Giants with the No. 186 overall pick. He earned Third-Team All-ACC honors for the second year in a row in 2015 after hitting .304 with 56 runs, five homers, 43 RBIs, a .432 on-base percentage, 54 walks and 10 steals. Duggar has started all 184 games of his Clemson career.<\/p>\n<p>Crownover rounded out the Tigers\u2019 day-two picks when he was drafted by the Washington Nationals with the No. 194 overall selection. In 2015, he was a first-team All-American and was named ACC Pitcher-of-the-Year. Crownover was 10-3 with a 1.82 ERA and .183 opponents\u2019 batting average in 109.0 innings pitched over 16 starts.
