4-star OT grabs Clemson offer

4-star OT grabs Clemson offer

Late last week, Clemson sent out offers to several linemen in the class of 2017.
Included in that group is Tony Gray, a four-star offensive tackle from Central Gwinnett High School in Georgia.
“My coach had informed me on it. When he informed me, I was excited and everything about it,” Gray told TheClemsonInsider, during a recent interview.
“After that, another offer had come in from Ole Miss. Then another offer came from Ohio State.”
The 6-foot-5, 260-pound prospect was excited to add the trio to his list of suitors.
“It’s nice. It’s a nice feeling to have. I wouldn’t even be in this position without my teammates, my fellow teammates,” Gray said.
Ranked by 247 as the No. 20 offensive tackle in the class of 2017, Gray is still learning about Clemson.
“I don’t really know too much about Clemson, but I plan on trying to find out what they’ve got going on down there,” he said.
South Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, Auburn and Alabama have all had him on campus. He’ll hit the road again this summer.
“I’m planning on trying to go somewhere, but I won’t know until I reach that time,” Gray said.
A few factors will be considered as he moves through the process.
“Well, I’ve got to feel at home at whatever school I choose,” Gray said. “I’ve also got to have a way to get back and forth to see my mom and for my mom to see me come play in games.
“Right now, I don’t know right now, I’m just still going through the process. But I’ve got to feel at home at any school. If I don’t feel at home, that’s not where I’m going.”
