The Clemson Tiger baseball team prepares for their last regular-season game on Saturday, as well as the series finale against the Florida State Seminoles.
The regular season will come to an end for your Clemson Tiger baseball team on Saturday when they play Florida State in the third and final game of the season. Clemson will also be going for a rare chance to sweep, which could, in turn, raise the Tigers up in the RPI and keep their NCAA Tournament hopes alive. The number-eight Seminoles will hope to avoid being swept for the first time all season at home and just the second time overall. The only time they have been swept was on the road at Notre Dame.

Clemson was able to hold Florida State scoreless yesterday behind some great pitching from Zach Erwin. Erwin picked up his sixth win of the season, allowing only three hits and striking out three batters. Reed Rohlman led the Tigers offensively, going 2-for-3 with a home run and 3 RBI. Steven Duggar also had a good outing at the plate, going 2-for-4 with a home run.
Clemson will aim to pick up their 31st win of the season and keep the momentum they have gained going as they head into post-season play. The Tigers will send Right-Handed pitcher Jake Long to the mound to face Seminole pitcher Drew Carlton.
