Let’s take a look at Tavien Feaster, the running back commit from Spartanburg, South Carolina.
The Clemson Tiger Class of 2016 already has a total of eight commits as we hit mid-May. There are still several prospects in the nation that Coach Swinney and his staff will attempt to get pledges from those commits in the upcoming months as they begin their senior season of football. Over the rest of the month, however, we are going to take a look at these eight men and what they could do when they arrive on campus next fall. Today, we will take a look at Spartanburg, South Carolina prospect Tavien Feaster.
Feaster may be the best running back, talent and athleticism-wise, to commit to the Tigers since, yes you guessed it, C.J. Spiller. Feaster will not only be able to make an immediate impact, but should have the opportunity to get significant snaps from day one. Should Tavien put on a little more muscle in the next two off-seasons, he will only get better as his career continues.

The Spartanburg native may have the best footwork in the entire 2016 season. He has the speed to leave any defender in the dust and, if you view the film, he also has the vision to find the open hole to use that speed to his advantage.
In his Sophomore season, Feaster rushed for a total of 1,153 yards with 15 rushing touchdowns. He followed that performance up his Junior year by rushing for 1,429 yards and had 15 rushing touchdowns yet again. What is most impressive about this is that even after everyone knew he was “the guy to stop,” he still finished the season with better statistics than that of the impressive season before.
