The Tigers will send Ace Matthew Crownover to the mound. Crownover (10-1) will face off against Seminole Ace Boomer Biegalski, with the hopes of extending his hot-streak. Biegalski will hope to bounce back after allowing Clemson to score four runs in the previous match-up. The last time these two faced off, Matthew Crownover went 7 innings, struck out five batters, and only allowed one run in his time on the mound.
Clemson will need to continue to play solid defense, as well as string together runs at the plate and get an early lead. The Tigers will also need the bullpen to come in the last two-three innings of the game and continue the work that Matthew Crownover will put in for six-seven innings. Let’s take a look at the keys to victory on Wednesday for the Tigers:
KEYS TO VICTORY:
1. Get out to an early lead
2. Good Bullpen outing
3. No errors
