The Tigers head to Durham, N.C. for the 42nd ACC Tournament as the No. 5 seed.

CLEMSON OVERVIEW
• Clemson swept No. 8 Florida State by a combined score of 20-7 in a three-game series in Tallahassee last weekend.
• The Tigers are averaging 6.5 runs per game and hitting .289 with a .379 on-base percentage and 59 steals.
• The pitching staff has a 3.99 ERA, .253 opponents’ batting average and 2.51 strikeout-to-walk ratio and Clemson is fielding .960.

FLORIDA STATE OVERVIEW
• Florida State is led by 36th-year head coach Mike Martin.
• The Seminoles were swept at home by Clemson last weekend. They are hitting .258 and have a 3.95 ERA and .963 fielding percentage.
• DJ Stewart is hitting a team-high .326 with 13 homers, 50 RBIs, 54 runs, 62 walks and a .514 on-base percentage.

LOUISVILLE OVERVIEW
• Louisville is led by ninth-year head coach Dan McDonnell.
• The Cardinals won two of three games at NC State last weekend. They are hitting .275 and have a 2.65 ERA and .966 fielding percentage.
• Corey Ray is hitting a team-high .329 with 13 doubles, four triples, 11 homers, 48 RBIs, 45 runs and 31 stolen bases.

NORTH CAROLINA OVERVIEW
• North Carolina is led by 17th-year head coach Mike Fox.
• The Tar Heels were swept at home by Virginia last weekend. They are hitting .265 and have a 3.54 ERA and .970 fielding percentage.
• Tyler Ramirez is hitting .291 with nine homers, 39 RBIs and 17 steals, while Skye Bolt is batting .264 with nine homers and 39 RBIs.

VIRGINIA TECH OVERVIEW
• Virginia Tech is led by second-year head coach Pat Mason.
• The Hokies won one of three games at Pittsburgh last weekend. They are hitting .266 and have a 5.17 ERA and .969 fielding percentage.
• Erik Payne is hitting a team-high .347 with nine homers and 53 RBIs, while Brendon Hayden is batting .314 with 11 homers and 51 RBIs.

QUICK HITS
• Clemson is 7-3 against top-25 ranked teams and 6-3 against top-10 ranked teams.
• Clemson (16-13) finished just 0.5 games out of third place in the overall ACC standings.
• ACC Atlantic Division teams combined for a 50-33 record against ACC Coastal Division teams during the regular season.

TIGERS TO PLAY IN 42ND ACC TOURNEY
• Clemson (31-25), the No. 5 seed, opens its ACC Tourney by playing No. 4 seed Florida State (37-19) on Wednesday at 11 a.m. on RSN and ESPN3.
• The Tigers will be the designated visiting team and occupy the first-base dugout Wednesday.
• The Tigers play No. 1 seed Louisville (42-14) on Thursday at 3 p.m. on RSN and ESPN3.
• Clemson will be the designated home team and occupy the third-base dugout Thursday.
• Clemson’s third game is against either No. 8 seed North Carolina (32-22) or No. 9 seed Virginia Tech (27-26) on Friday at 3 p.m.
• Clemson will be the designated visiting team and occupy the first-base dugout Friday for the game on RSN and ESPN3.
• The games will be played at Durham Bulls Athletic Park in Durham, N.C.
• It will be the ninth time the ACC Baseball Tournament is held in Durham and the first time since 2013.
• For the second time under the current format, the tournament has a 10-team field, with two single-elimination games Tuesday.
• The round-robin format, in its ninth year, features two four-team brackets that guarantees the eight teams play a minimum of three games.
• The other bracket features No. 2 seed Miami, No. 3 seed Notre Dame, No. 6 seed NC State, No. 7 seed Virginia and No. 10 seed Georgia Tech.
• The winner of each bracket meets in the ACC Championship Game on Sunday at 1 p.m.
• The title game will be televised by ESPN2 and the winner of the game receives an automatic bid into the 2015 NCAA Tournament.
• All of Clemson’s ACC Tournament games are broadcast live on the radio by Clemson Tiger Sports Network.

CLEMSON’S ACC TOURNAMENT HISTORY
• This is the 42nd ACC Tournament, and Clemson has been to the finals in 21 of the previous 41 tournaments, nine more than any other school.
• Clemson has won an ACC-tying-high nine ACC Tournament titles in history, including 2006 when it defeated NC State 8-4 in the title game.
• Clemson has a 105-66 record (.614) in ACC Tournament games. The Tigers also have the most All-ACC Tournament selections (56) in history.
• Clemson’s nine ACC Tournament titles came in 1976, 1978, 1980, 1981, 1989, 1991, 1993, 1994 and 2006.
• Clemson is one of only two teams to play in all 42 ACC Tournaments. The Tigers join Virginia as the only teams to play in every ACC Tourney.
• This will be the 19th time the tournament is held in the state of North Carolina.
• Only Florida State (62.5) and Virginia Tech (62.5) have a better winning percentage than Clemson (61.4) in ACC Tournament play.
• The ACC Tournament began in 1973 and has been held every year but one (1979) since then.

WINNING SEASONS THE NORM
• The Tigers have had a winning record every year since 1965.
• With its 31-25 record in 2015, Clemson is guaranteed a winning record for the 51st season in a row.
• That 51-year winning season streak spans just two head coaches, Bill Wilhelm (29 seasons) and Jack Leggett (22 seasons).
• Clemson’s 51-year streak is the third-longest active streak in the nation, trailing two ACC schools (Florida State 68, Miami (Fla.) 58).
• Clemson has had a non-losing record, which includes seasons with equal number of wins and losses, every season since 1958.
• Bill Wilhelm took over as head coach of the Clemson program in 1958, therefore the Tigers have not had a losing record since he took over.
• Clemson’s 58-year streak of non-losing records is tied for the second-longest active streak in the nation, trailing only Florida State (68).

SIX TIGERS NAMED TO ALL-ACC TEAM
• Six Tigers earned First, Second or Third-Team All-ACC honors, third-most by an ACC team.
• Matthew Crownover (SP) and Chris Okey (C) earned First-Team All-ACC honors.
• Crownover became the first Tiger lefthander to earn First-Team All-ACC honors since 1995 (Jason Dawsey).
• Okey became the first Tiger to be named the First-Team All-ACC catcher since 1997 (Matthew LeCroy).
• Tyler Krieger (DH/utility) and Reed Rohlman (OF) were named Second-Team All-ACC.
• Steven Duggar (OF) and Eli White (SS) earned Third-Team All-ACC honors.
• Five of Clemson’s nine position players were All-ACC.
• Crownover, Duggar and Krieger all earned All-ACC honors for the second time in their careers.

ACC STANDINGS
• Clemson (15-14) finished fourth in the Atlantic Division standings behind Louisville (25-5), Notre Dame (17-13) and Florida State (17-13).
• Clemson finished fifth in the overall ACC standings.
• Clemson finished with a winning ACC regular-season record for the 21st time in 22 seasons under Head Coach Jack Leggett.

HISTORIC SWEEP IN TALLAHASSEE
• Clemson swept No. 8 Florida State in a three-game series at Tallahassee, Fla. from May 14-16 by a combined score of 20-7.
• It was Clemson’s first three-game sweep in Tallahassee.
• With Clemson leading 9-1, Florida State scored five of its seven runs in the series in the last inning of the final game.
• The Tigers won by scores of 4-1, 7-0 and 9-6, as it was their first and only three-game ACC sweep of 2015.
• Clemson handed Florida State its first three-game series sweep at Dick Howser Stadium since 2006.
• Clemson had a 21-scoreless-innings-pitched streak during the three games.
• Florida State had a 27-4 home record in 2015 entering the series.

CROWNOVER ACC PITCHER-OF-THE-YEAR
• Junior lefthander Matthew Crownover was named 2015 ACC Pitcher-of-the-Year in a vote by the 14 ACC head coaches.
• He is 10-1 with a 1.42 ERA, .187 opponents’ batting average and 91 strikeouts in 95.0 innings pitched over 14 starts in 2015.
• He became the Clemson’s first-ever ACC Pitcher-of-the-Year, as the ACC first named one in 2005.
• Kris Benson was the last Tiger hurler to earn ACC Player-of-the-Year honors in 1996.

LONG FILLING NO. 3 STARTER ROLE
• Senior righthander Jake Long has become Clemson’s No. 3 starter on the weekend.
• He is 2-0 with a 1.99 ERA, .202 opponents’ batting average and 33 strikeouts in 45.1 innings pitched over 11 appearances (six starts).
• In 19.0 innings pitched over five appearances in ACC regular-season games, he was 1-0 with a 1.89 ERA and .185 opponents’ batting average.
• He did not pitch during the first half of the season while recovering from injury, but is healthy for the postseason.
• In his two years as a Tiger, he is 5-3 with a 3.82 ERA and .232 opponents’ batting average in 101.1 innings pitched over 27 appearances.
