Ogundeko was arrested Tuesday morning
TigerNet has obtained a copy of former Clemson defensive end Ebenezer OgundekoEbenezer OgundekoRS So. Defensive End#1 6-3, 250Brooklyn, NYView Full Profile’s arrest affidavit on Tuesday afternoon. Ogundeko, who was dismissed from the Clemson football Tuesday following his arrest, was charged with Financial Card Transaction Fraud.
The affidavit states:
“That on May 18, 2015 at approximately 1:16 AM, The accused, Ebenezer Eniola Ogundeko did knowingly use his actual bank of america visa card to defraud an unknown account holder, account number ending ***, to obtain walmart gift cards for his personal use. The accused changed and altered the scanning mechanism on the back of his credit card with an unknown scanning device, which caused the account number to change. The accused was captured on store video during the transaction using said card and unknown account number without the consent of owner and with the intent to defraud the unknown card holder. The accused was captured and identified by responding Clemson police officerws at the store location and has confessed to the crime. This incident occurred at 680 Old Greenville Highway, located within the city limits of Clemson, County of Pickens, South Carolina.”
