How does Everett Golson Transfer Affect Clemson? — Andrew Boardwine, RTR

Former Notre Dame quarter back Everett Golson announced early on Tuesday that he will be taking his talents to Florida State University with the hopes of being the Seminoles’ starting quarter back in the fall. Golson does not have to sit out a year because he is a “Graduate Student,” so he will be eligible to compete in the 2015 season. With that being said, what does his transfer announcement mean for the 2015 Clemson football season?

Cole Stoudt released from Chargers — Andrew Boardwine, RTR

Former Clemson quarter back Cole Stoudt was released from the San Diego Chargers. The announcement was made early on Wednesday, sources told Tigernet. Stoudt was offered a chance from the San Diego Chargers organization just days after the draft, but the franchise chose to release him after a few weeks of rookie mini-camp.

No. 10 FSU Tops Tigers 3-1 — Brian Hennessy, Clemson Athletic Communications

DURHAM, N.C. – Boomer Biegalski pitched 6.1 scoreless innings to lead No. 10 Florida State to a 3-1 victory over Clemson in the ACC Tournament at Durham Bulls Athletic Park on Wednesday. The Seminoles, who improved to 1-0 in the tournament, upped its record to 38-19. The Tigers, who fell to 0-1 in the tourney, dropped to 31-26 on the season.

Denzel Johnson signs scholarship papers with Clemson — Clemson Athletic Communications

Clemson, S.C.—Denzel Johnson, a two-way player from A.C. Flora High School in Columbia, S.C. has signed scholarship papers with the Clemson football program. The announcement was made Wednesday by Clemson Head Football Coach Dabo Swinney. Johnson is expected to enroll at Clemson this summer and will be a scholarship athlete on the Clemson team this fall.
