Clemson is making its 40th NCAA Tournament appearance, including their 28th appearance in the last 29 years.
The Tigers are 113-85 in their previous 39 appearances with 18 Regional/District titles and 12 College World Series appearances.
Clemson has never traveled to California for a NCAA Tournament game (the furthest west is Tempe, AZ for a Super Regional in 2009).
Jack Leggett is making his 26rd appearance as a head coach in the NCAA Tournament. In his previous 25 appearances, Leggett is 72-55 with 11 regional titles and six super regional titles. Leggett is 68-45 in 20 previous NCAA Tournament at Clemson, including 20-22 (12-7 in regionals) in neutral site contests and 8-14 (6-5 in regionals) on the opponents’ home field.
