A Clemson safety alert was sent out via Twitter on Wednesday afternoon at 1:11 PM for a report of a Black Bear on campus. The tweet said, “If you see it, take shelter and call 911.”
The Bear was last seen near the vicinity of Thornhill Village and Calhoun Courts. The police are currently trying to track its whereabouts.
Update 3 PM: The Bear was last seen headed towards the Botantical Gardens.
