Clemson’s famous mallard celebrities – Dabo Duck and Tilly have given birth to ducklings on Thursday in the reflection pond behind the Cooper Library.
The backstory on Dabo Duck is that he was a student’s pet and was dropped off one day at the pond before last year’s Christmas break.
Since then, Dabo Duck has become a campus favorite and even received 3% of the vote in the student body’s presidential election in February.
FYI: Feeding the ducks bread, crackers or chips can make them sick.
