Tigers Set Spring GPA Record

FULLERTON, CALIF. – The Tiger baseball team set a spring semester record with a 3.04 GPA. A total of 23 baseball players made the school’s academic honor roll, most in program history. To make the honor roll, a student-athlete must have a 3.0 GPA for the semester.

The 23 honor roll members were second-most for a semester in program history, trailing only the 24 by the 2009 team in the fall of 2008.

“I’m very proud of the work our players put into the classroom in the spring,” said head coach Jack Leggett. “With the guidance from our outstanding support staff in Vickery Hall, led by baseball supervisor Lindsey Ricketts, our players achieved tremendous results. It’s a testament to how they’ve dedicated themselves in their studies, and it paid off with a 3.04 GPA in the spring.”
