Another Tampa offer from Elliott

Clemson co-offensive coordinator Tony Elliott has successfully recruited the Clemson area since coming on board as an assistant with the Tigers in 2011.
Last month, Elliott sent out an offer to Hillsborough High School four-star defensive end Zachary Carter.
“That Clemson offer is big-time for me,” Carter said, during an interview with TheClemsonInsider.com.
“Clemson is big-time to me because I like the school a lot,” he said. “I watched them a lot growing up and I know that they’re a good program.”
Carter added, “I think they’ve been up there competing with the best of the best. They’re one of the best of the best.”
Elliott has been in contact with Carter.
“Coach Elliott, he tells me that Clemson is about more than just building great football players, they’re about character, too,” Carter said. “(Elliott) said that a lot of the guys that get offers from Clemson, they’re not just good football players, they’re good guys in the community also.”
As a sophomore, Carter had 74 tackles, 6.5 sacks and four pass breakups.
