Clemson signee drafted in 3rd round
Clemson shortstop signee Jalen Miller from Atlanta, GA has been drafted in the third round on Tuesday afternoon (95th overall) by the San Francisco Giants.
TigerNet spoke to Miller last year and he said that “Two of my former coaches were committed to Clemson but chose the Pro route. They told me about it and my old summer coach Todd Raleigh. He played under Leggett at Western Carolina and he took me to the camp and I have loved it ever since.”
His final stats for the season were a .463 average going 38 for 82, 36 RBI’s, 9 doubles, 1 triple, 16 walks, .551 OBP and .8537 slugging percentage. He is a very good defensive shortstop that also has the ability to hit for a high average.
