Clemson, S.C.—Clemson senior Miller Capps and graduate Billy Kennerly, both had outstanding first rounds at the 2015 United States Amateur at Olympia Fields Golf Club near Chicago, Ill.  Capps fired an even-par 70 in the opening round, while Kennerly, who has used up his eligibility at Clemson, had a one over par  71.
