Second-ranked Clemson (6-0 overall, 4-0, ACC) defeated Wake Forest (4-2, 1-2) 28-14 on Homecoming Saturday in Death Valley Saturday afternoon. The Tigers raced out to a 14-0 lead in the first quarter before sputtering on offense for much of the remaining three and gave up two late touchdowns to the Demon Deacons, but remain undefeated after a scrappy effort.
