The Clemson baseball team will have to wait to see their fate as the NCAA Tournament Selection Show takes place today.
After a depressing loss to the North Carolina Tar Heels on Friday in the ACC Tournament, the Clemson baseball team will have to see if their season has come to an end or if they will get one more chance in the NCAA Tournament. If the Tigers had won Friday, there was a great chance they would have ended up in the Charleston Regional and would be playing the College of Charleston for a chance to advance. However, with the loss, there is no guarantee Clemson will be in the NCAAs and the closest site would actually be Florida after Charleston and Coastal Carolina were passed on.
Clemson certainly has the talent to compete if they got into the NCAA Tournament, but their inconsistency has caused them to be on the bubble for the Tournament.
