9 Tigers listed in Athlon’s Preseason 2015 All-ACC team

Watson and Alexander should be leaders for Clemson in 2015

Athlon Sports released its projections for their Preseason All-ACC team for 2015 and it has nine Clemson football players on the list. The projections were largely based on how well the players would perform in 2015, not their past accolades and stats.
On offense, QB Deshaun Watson and WR Artavis Scott was selected on the first team, WR Mike Williams was on the second team, RB Wayne Gallman and C Ryan Norton was picked on the third team and OT Isaiah Battle was the lone selection on the fourth team.
DE Shaq Lawson and MacKenzie Alexander were the only two players selected from Clemson (both 2nd team) on defense. K Ammon Lakip was selected as a third-team specialist.
