Clemson football received news last night that defensive back Jefferie Gibson would be transferring from the program. Redshirt sophomore safety Jefferie Gibson, according to several sources, has decided to transfer from Clemson football and pursue other opportunities. This comes as a surprise to me as I believed that Gibson could actually receive some playing time this season at the safety spot.
